Hej hej everyone! I’m finally back with my feet on Swedish soil and, let me tell you, it feels amazing. Although I was born in the UK, I have always felt deeply at ease in Stockholm, and get a weird type of home-sickness if I’m away for too long. On this occasion we have been celebrating not just my big three zero birthday, but also our four year wedding anniversary so it’s been an extra jubilant time with many wonderful meals out and obvs lots of delicious Swedish pastries too.
I’ll be posting individually about some of my favourite hot-spots (some new and some old faves) over the next few days. I’ve long lost count of how many times we’ve visited Stockholm over the years, so I’m happy to be a good hostess and point out a few of the most awesome places that the gorgeous Swedish capital has to offer.
This picture was taken from the top of the Stadshuset, which is where Tristan and I got married. For our anniversary we climbed the 365 steps to the top of the tower to see Stockholm from above, which for 50 Swedish Kronor was a bargainous way to admire the city from a birds-eye perspective.
